I’ve owned dogs since I was 14 years old, initially as a family pet owner of Border Collie. I had been begging my parents for a dog, and I walked a lab for my parents friends and would bring her to our home. There came a Saturday when I was told she could not come in and I had to take her home. I was livid.
When I got back I was met with a 3 month old Border Collie puppy, Sam….. happy days😊

Since then, as a “grown up” I’ve been the owner of two more Border Collies, a Rough Collie and two Great Danes, all rescues.
When I lost Amy, my blind Great Dane in May 2021 I decided to take a break from dog ownership but quickly realised I missed the companionship.

Hence I’m here now, and looking to take good care of your precious fur babes.

I work from home so they get 100% attention.

• I have a large walled rear garden and the gate is padlocked.
• I welcome you and your dog to come and have a chat, and your dog is invited to have a 4 hour FOC visit.
• I can provide details for recommendations of existing clients.
• Your dog(s) will be the only one(s) in my home.
• Both front and rear doors are locked during your pets stay, other than supervised outdoor play in the rear garden.
• While in my care they will wear a tracker device so that in the unfortunate occurrence that they break free I can locate them quickly.
• I have two cameras set up, one for the lounge and one for the garden. You will be given access to both cameras to view your dog’s activities. 8.00a.m. – 7.00p.m.
• Raw feeding welcome if that is your choice. My Danes were both fed raw, so this is not a problem.
• I am a child free home.
• My last Great Dane, Amy was partially sighted, and towards the end nearly blind so I have experience of caring for sight impaired dogs.
• Both my cars are fitted with manufacturers dog guards so that if your dog needs to be transported they will be safe.
• If you have additional pets in your home…. Cats, rabbits, reptiles, etc please let me know, as we will endeavour to accommodate all pets.
