Meet The Dogs

I am a Border terrier and a Golden Oldie, going on 13 years. I am looking forward to staying with Carol very soon as we go for some interesting walks and then come home and have a few cuddles, before I settle down for a nap. Carol says I snore but I don’t. I am hard of hearing which I always use to my advantage. I like to chill in the garden and just enjoy the sunshine.

I am the baby on here being just 4 months old, and I live with my older brother Blue, and my sister Bella. I have been to Carols’ for a visit and I have several holidays booked this year with Carol and Pete. I’m looking forward to staying on my own so I will have all the attention, and I know I am going to have lots of fun staying with her with all the toys for me to play with.

I’m a bit of a mixture: Staffie Bull Terrier, Jack Russell X. I had a bit of a rough start in life but I’ve fallen on all 4 paws with my new owners John and Emma who have been very patient with me.

Carol thinks I am a little sweetie and love lots of cuddles. I went out with Carol to see her mum and dad so now I have some new grandparents too!

Although I am a bit shy and it takes me a bit of time to get used to new people, I love it at Carols and my favourite part of the day is getting in her bed at night under the duvet especially if she has her electric blanket on.

I’m coming back soon for my next holiday and can’t wait.

Yes! I am named after the famous David Bowie, my Dad’s a mega fan. I adore playing with my balls and am an expert at carrying a ball in my mouth whilst dribbling another with my paws like a footballer. I also have a shoe fetish and love taking the insoles out and shortening the laces.

Carol is not impressed as I am an early riser and is very grumpy when I wake her up. This has been my 3rd visit and I am coming back for my holidays later in the year and I cannot wait as I have so much fun.

I’m a Pyrenese Mountain dog and will soon be a grown up 3 year old. Carol calls me her Teddy Bear and I love coming here because I am spoilt with lots of treats and cuddles, when we draw up to Carols I cannot wait to to get out of the van to see what is waiting for me inside, lots of cuddly toys and things to play with, and I love laying in her kitchen on her nice cool floor.

I’m a Weimeraner and everyone tells me how handsome I am.

I lurve my walks and like to look out of the front window to see what’s happening. I like to be involved with any activities and I also like to find any spare shoes to run round and play with :-)

I’m a Welsh Springer Spaniel and I am a very friendly girl, although a bit shy when I first meet you, but can soon be tempted with lots of love, cuddles and treats.

I lead a very busy life with Carol and Pete going on long walks, and we sometimes go round to Carol’s friend Christine where I enjoy getting spoilt with lots of treats and playing with all her different toys.

I am a known tea-leaf which means I love to steal any socks, pants and bras I can find and decorate the house with my new found treasures.

I have also become Carol’s new apprentice and act as her PA while sitting on her desk when she is working. I have also been to see her mum and dad, and we had a lovely visit out.

My favourite part of the day is when me and Carol go to bed and have snuggles on our own. I like to send my mum and dad a message just before I go to sleep to tell them what I’ve been up to and send them my luff and some kisses. Carol sends the messages in the day, normally to say if I’ve been a bit “norty” like licking the left over sausages in the frying pan or stealing socks and shoes :-)

I live locally so when we pass Carol’s house I try to persuade dad to let me go in to say hello.

I am Rex the Lurcher (mix),  I had the privilege staying with Carol and Pete for Christmas. Santa came and brought me some surprise presents. I met Carol’s mum and dad, and they are now my adopted granny and grandpa. We had a luverly time.

Shhh… don’t let my mum know but I slept on the bed with Carol and Pete. Luxury ‘cos Carol gets cold so we shared her electric blanket.

I’ve got my 2024 summer holiday booked as it’s my mums special birthday and they are going somewhere nice and sunny.

I came to stay with Carol and Pete for a sleep over. It was my “human” big sister’s 18th birthday.

We went to see Carol’s friend where I got to play lots of ball fetch. When we got home we all chilled and played more ball games.

I’ve never been left before but I had a great time.

I’m a labradoodle and I’m also 7 years old like Freda.  Hey we’ve almost got the same names! I’ve been to see Carol several times now. First was with my humans and baby bro (Chocolate lab, Bailey). Then I came back to stay on my own for a few hours. I pottered in the garden and explored round the house. Next time I’m coming to stay for 2 weeks and I’m looking forward to a bit of “me” time.

I loved my 2022 holiday. Me, Pete ‘n Carol all snuggled in bed.

Sometimes dad drops me off at Carols’ just so Carol has some company:-) I’ve already got my 2023 holiday booked in. Happy days.

I can’t disclose my real name or location 😊

Due to the nature of my career sometimes I have to go on “gardening leave”, so I’ve perfected my digging technique. Not so good at recognising the difference between “proper” plants and weeds but enthusiastic to learn, so if you need help in the garden you can contact me via Carol for availability. Payments terms: treats and snuggles.

When I go for a day visit I have jobs to do… after dad drops me off I have to go and wake Pete up and have a snuggle. Next job is to go in the garden to feed the birds (I might have a toilet break too). Then back to work when we make Pete’s sandwiches and I do a taste test to make sure all the sandwich contents are human edible.
We normally have a walk about lunchtime when Carol has done some work. (Boring).

If I have a sleep over me and Pete stay up and watch motor racing or cricket, rugby, skiing, etc, you get the idea. Then we go to bed and all snuggle down. I get the middle of the bed. Pete complains that I snore (I DO NOT), have wind, (I DO NOT) and run when I’m asleep (not sure). He can’t talk and is guilty of all the aforementioned. 😊

I’m a Fox Red Labrador. Carol says I’m a very handsome chap. (Bet she says that to all the boys)! I had a lovely time, lots of toys, especially a good range of balls😊 Carol and Pete had friends over for dinner so I got loads more cuddles. I can vouch for the motor racing theme…. We stayed up REALLY late to watch it. I had walks, gardening and some chill time. We sent mom, dad and my human sisters lots of pics and messages. I’m a tired, happy boy😊

I’m a 1 year old German Pointer. My mum has to go to work early so we normally arrive about 6.30 a.m. Carol is still a bit sleepy but I wake her up😊 I pretty much follow the same routine a Zula. I lurve my ball games so we do that during the day. Just before mum comes to collect me I have a little nap!
I also have the occasional sleepover and confirm Zula’s comments.

I’m a petite Border Collie. I come for the afternoon when my mum has to work all day. I have now trained Carol properly on all aspect of ball games, my favourite sport. I have perfect catch and aim, and can get the ball to land exactly where I want. I have lots of balls and toys to choose from. I can also say I am a “proper” working Collie as I sometimes go to meetings with Carol and meet “the boys” (customers). As I am still an apprentice I only get paid in treats… pigs ears, cows hooves, chew bones, etc. Happy days😊

I also like a bit of gardening, in particular digging…… Carol’s not too impressed with my enthusiasm.

I’m a 2 year old Border Collie X Bearded Collie. I live with my mom and my granny. I came to stay with Carol and Pete when my mum went on holiday to get engaged😊. Me, Carol and Pete had a blast. Walks, snuggles and ball games. Pete introduced me to Rugby and I loved watching it on TV. I even went to the workshop to see where Pete works and meet other “working” doggies.

I’ve just had a lovely couple of days with Carol. My mum and Nan went to pick up my visiting Aunty from Heathrow. We had nice walks, ball games and play in the garden.

I’m just a 9 week old Yorkshire Terrier, but born and bred in South Wales. How confusing is that for me?

My mom is Jo, and my dad is Andy, (he’s Carol’s “little” bruv). I have an older (human) sister called Amy.

I’ve already been to Sheffield to meet my grannies and grandpa’s, and of course Carol. They are all besotted with me 😊

I like digging and I am looking forward to helping mom with the gardening!

Freda, Springerpoodle “Dancing Queen” is Carol’s name for me. See my dance moves. It seems like I’m the golden oldie out of this group. I’m seven😊 and Clemmy and I are friends.

Me ‘n Freddie have met. I prefer my ball to boys, although I have to say he’s a handsome chap :-)

I’m back again for another holiday this week. Luxury ‘cos Carol feeds me chicken. 5 star dining.
