We are so happy we found Dora’s fairygod mother, Dora was around 4 months when we left her in the safe hands of carol. We got lots of updates and pictures while we were away, Dora was so very well looked after and had many adventures out and about on her walks. It made things so much easier knowing she was well cared for, carols home is very welcoming and lots of things to keep any dog happy.
Dora is looking forward to her next time with her fairy dog mother. 🐾

Having a reactive dog can be tricky, but Carol and Pete are absolutely excellent with Hubble. They treat him as if he is their own and he never wants to leave.
Having a home away from home for Hubble is great and makes me feel so relaxed knowing that he’s happy and safe.
I’d be lost without Carol and Pete!

JimBob really seemed to enjoy his time with his FairyDogMother; from his initial meeting, his four hour play date to his two night stay. Carol has been great looking after him and even providing some basic training during his stay too. JimBob has always been happy to be left and has been fine coming home afterwards. Carol’s recommendation of a yellowdog dog coat for him seems to help too; he needs a bit more space around other dogs so we hope that other dog owners will respect that and help with JimBob feeling better near other dogs… it’ll take time but we were grateful for the advice.

Carol provides regular updates and photos which we find very reassuring so we’d be more than happy to take JimBob back as we love the ‘one dog at a time’ idea and we’d be more than happy to recommend Carol to anyone looking for the service she happily provides.

My parents looked far and wide to find the perfect holiday home for me. Somewhere which Is similar to my own place. I love it here. Auntie Carol let me share her shower, my parents will not let me yet. I’ll work on that. I am nosy, noisy and boisterous but very loving. I met a Granddad who gave me a biscuit so he is top of my list. My parents enjoyed their break but were happy to have me back. I was so settled with auntie Carol and Uncle Pete they are going to leave me again.

I have just had my holiday with my fairy dog mother. I love my time there and I get lots of walks and treats but now i’m back with mum and dad the oldies so it’s a bit boring. Never mind it will soon come round to holiday time again. Just wish I could stay for longer. PS sorry for doing 2 wee wees in the hallway, it must be all the excitement xxx

Carol looked after my dog for 12 nights from the end of April. This is the second time that my dog has stayed with Carol and my dog loves staying with her.

My dog can be nervous in unfamiliar surroundings, but Carol makes her feel comfortable and relaxed in her home.

I will always let my dog stay with Carol when I need someone to look after my dog.

Carol looked after our 2yrs old Leonberger, Simba over Saturday and night sent lots of photos with his progress, Carol clearly loves dogs and has a great understanding of them.

Molly and Benji stayed with Carol last weekend for the first time as we were away for our son’s wedding.
Carol took the time to look after them for a trial afternoon so that they became familiar with their surroundings. This was useful as Molly can be anxious at times.
On the actual weekend, we had camera access to the living room which was very reassuring as it is nice to occasionally check in on them and see them happily cuddled up with Carol on the sofa. We had regular photo uodates of their walks etc.
Carol clearly loves dogs and we were in no doubt that they were well cared for 😊

Arlo has been staying with Carol for a few years now while we go away and is so well cared for. We get so many updates on all the fun he is having and it really gives us peace of mind.

Carol is such a caring person and really goes out of her way to make sure that Arlo gets the best care ever. She listens to what he is used to at home and replicates this in his stay so it’s a home away from home.

He howls (happy howls) his head off as soon as we pull up outside and is always so happy to run inside and start causing some mischief.

We struggled for a long time to find a suitable place for Arlo to stay while we were away but can now safely say we’ll never leave him anywhere else when he can’t be at home with us. :)

Just returned from 11 night holiday away during Christmas and the New Year and was able to really enjoy and relax knowing my little man (Milo) was 110% getting pampered too.
We had regular updates and photos of our little man doing what he does best and being given all the love and attention made it so much more comforting to know he was enjoying his holiday stay too.
We will definitely be using Fairy Dog Mother services again.

Carol is wonderful and I highly recommend her. Ollie our 4 year old cockapoo went to stay with Carol and Pete, it was the first time we had ever left him. Just seeing how much Carol loves dogs helped leaving him and knowing that he would be cared for so well. Carol kept us updated with pictures and videos and Ollie was getting lots of snuggles, love and attention. He even went out for tea with Carol and Pete. Ollie is going to stay again next year xx

George absolutely loves staying with Carol & Pete, and that makes us happy and relaxed to leave him in their care whilst we are on holiday. He seemed to particularly enjoy the toy and bone box, and loved playing out in the garden.

Carol sends lots of pictures, videos and messages to keep us up to date with any adventures George is having and it’s great to see him having so much fun whilst we are away.

Carol doesn’t just look after George, she ensures his training continues and is re-enforced. He came home having learnt how to wait for his food, which is something we’d being trying to do for a while.

We have several holidays booked for 2024 and 2025, and have already booked Carol as we know we couldn’t find anywhere better for George to stay whilst we are on holiday.

I can’t recommend Carol enough.
Carol and her husband Pete are just the most amazing people you’ll ever meet. They treated Murdock like he was their own. You could see what a lovely bond Murdock had with them, Murdock’s 2nd home.
Carol makes you feel such as easy and sends you pictures and updates through out his stay, which was so reassuring.
Murdock just absolutely loved his stay.

Buster has spent a few nights on different occasions with Carol. He settled in really quickly there and Carol looks after him really well. It really is a personalised service for Buster and a home from home. Photos and update messages are sent to us from Carol to show how he’s getting on.
I highly recommend Carol, a lot of care and attention is given to making sure the environment is safe and comfortable for the dogs in Carol’s care.

Carol is absolutely fantastic I can not praise her enough for the care and attention she has given my slightly sensitive border collie. She understands his needs and quirks as a breed and goes out of her way to make sure he is happy and secure in her care.
I have recommended Carol to others, Bowie doesn’t really want to come home after his visits this is a real testament to the care she provides.
He is really looking forward to his booked visits later in the year.

Ralph is only 15 months old, we wondered how he would be staying over at another persons home.
We need not have worried, first we did a free trial by leaving Ralph for a few hours with Carol so that they could both get to know each other. But importantly Ralph could see he is safe and in good hands. Then a couple of weeks later we booked Ralph in with Carol for a couple of days and overnight stay. We are sure he loved his holiday in Carol’s home. Carol kept us updated with pictures and text on Whatsapp as to how he was doing.
We couldn’t recommend Carol enough he loves going to seeing his Auntie Carol for great walks and plenty of love x

Carol & Pete are clearly huge dog lovers and let the girls treat their house like a home from home when they are staying over. We get lots of whatsapp updates and I always feel very relaxed that they are being well looked after.

This was our first ever time leaving our dog with someone other than a family member & we were slightly nervous given that Holly is a young, very giddy & boisterous Dalmatian.

But from the first moment we met Carol (& Pete) we felt instantly at ease, Holly was allowed to potter around & explore their house & very much enjoyed exploring the toy box, bone box & lovely comfy beds they had to offer.

Carol then kindly had Holly for a few hours & she settled instantly, she didn’t even realise Id left & nor did she want to leave when I returned a few hours later to pick her up!

Holly then returned for her first ever sleep over & again, we were a little apprehensive, but the regular updates from Carol were fantastic. We could clearly see that Holly was very much at home with them & enjoying every minute.

Our favourite update was this photo, Carol had wrapped Holly in a lovely pink robe & she was fast asleep in one of their cosy beds, she looked so peaceful & it was just lovely to see our little girl looking so settled & content.

So if you are looking for someone to treat your fur baby with the same amount of love & attention that you give them, look no further than Carol (& Pete), they are wonderful & we feel so incredibly lucky to have found them.

Holly is already looking forward to her summer break with them in June 🐾
